This was meant to be a looping video; however, I think its message is still evident without the loop. I used the rotoscoping technique. The humming is Erykah Badu's "Bag Lady." Enjoy.

Zdenek Miller

Krteček la petite taupe


En la República Checa, el topo es muy popular, en especial uno: el topo de las películas animadas de Zdenek Miller, fiel amigo de varias generaciones de niños checos. Es a este topo animado a quien Zdenek Miller, director de cine checo, autor de películas de dibujos animados e ilustrador de libros, debe su mayor fama.
"Comencé a trabajar en la primera película sobre el topo en el año 1954 y la terminé en el 56, o sea que realmente el topo tiene más de cincuenta años de edad". El mismo año de su creación, la película sobre el topo que soñaba con vestir pantalones fue galardonada en el festival cinematográfico de Venecia. Sin embargo, cuando a Miller le preguntaron ¿por qué había escogido como protagonista de sus cuentos a un topo?, respondió que había sido una mera casualidad.
